300 percent increase in sales of Central Kentucky Farms in January 2012 - Still Historically Low

Even though farm sales in January of 2012 increased almost 300 percent over January of 2011 they still lagged residential sales. There are still an average of 48 months of supply of farm sales on the Central Kentucky market.

Historically anything six months or more of inventory is a buyer's market. So with 48 months of supply of farms in Central Kentucky I guess we could say it is a "SUPER" buyer's market.

If you know someone who is currently thinking of buying land please encourage them to give me a call. This is an historical time to buy farm land.

Farm Sales in Central Kentucky improve in January 2012 but are still very slow.
